One Abdulrauf Adamu from Jama’are, Bauchi who is 20 years old said his friend Abdulkadir Wada is the suspect who cut the private part of a 6-year-old girl.
Narrating the incident to the police he said:
“First Abdulkadir Wada met me on my way to the garage and told me that one of his friends IB went to a native doctor Malam, and the Malam checked something for him and promised to give them money but that they had to bring a woman’s private part.
“I (Adamu) said I wouldn’t do it or take part in his plan. So I went to the garage and met one of my friends Musa and I told him what Abdulkadir had told me to do but Musa advised me against it.

“So I went back and told him that I wasn’t interested and then the following day, he said since I travel a lot he will give me a charm to use and then he wrapped something and gave it to me.
“So they went to Adamu’s house to eat food but it wasn’t ready so they went to Lowcost from Lowcost to Kwata (Abattoir) and there they saw two girls and stopped them and said hey you come we want to send you to that house and one of the girls refused saying that she’s going to get something.
“Then they sent the small girl to go inside that house to call Maryam and she entered and was told that there was no Maryam in the house. When she came back there was a rag in his hand so he used it to cover her face and then she fainted and they took her to an uncompleted building and started cutting her private part. While in the action one Almajiri entered and saw them and then they ran away.
“After running away Abdulkadir went back again to the uncompleted building to finish the work and then Adamu entered another house not knowing that it is the Malam’s house.
