Yobe state Governor and Chairman APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee Hon. Mai Mala Buni, on Saturday inspected construction works on the Multi Billion Naira Gashua and Nguru modern markets.
In a press statement signed by the DG Press and Media Mamman Mohammed, Governor Buni who was accompanied by the state Deputy Governor Hon. Idi Barde Gubana, Speaker of the state assembly Hon. Ahmed Lawan Mirwa and other top government officials, expressed satisfaction with the speed and quality of work on the projects.
“There is value for money in these projects, it is quite satisfactory.

“I am optimistic that when completed, these projects would add value to the economy of the people, the communities and the state.
The Governor assured the contractors that the state government would always make funds available to facilitate timely completion of the projects.
Governor Buni also inspected township roads under construction in the two towns and charged the contractors on timely completion without compromising the quality of work.
The commissioners of Commerce and works assured the governor that the two ministries supervising the projects would ensure strict adherance to the contractual terms and agreements.
