Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umar Zulum has appointed Mustapha Kagu, Malam Musa Abbas and Rawa Gana Dikwa as the district coordinators of the Borno State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).
The three appointees have officially resumed their duties on Thursday, 4th February at the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).
The Director General of State Management Agency, Borno State, Hajiya Yabawa Kolo commended the Governor for his dynamic hard-work, care and passion towards the Internally Display Persons (IDPs) and marginalized vulnerable people in the state. She also commended him for strengthening the SEMA in its operational activities.
”Initially we had issues of operation in deep locations because we don’t have representatives in all the areas. But now our work will be easier because the Governor has assigned representatives from various zones” said the DG
“The volume of the work we put in place has changed the nomenclature of my office, also we have returned so many IDPs from Marte, Baga, Culka, Gushe, Kayuri and Bama to their villages.”
Also speaking, Alhaji Mustapha Kagu, the zonal coordinator thanked the Governor of Borno State for appointing them to serve as zonal district coordinators to SEMA and stated that they will give maximum cooperation and support to the DG so that the agency will record more success.
