Paulo Dybala is contracted with Juventus until 2022′. Barcelona are willing to let go of Griezmann for Dybala next season.

Dybala has not played since January due to a ligament injury

Premier League clubs, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are reportedly monitoring Paulo Dybala’s situation at Juventus ahead of the 2021 summer transfer window.

The Argentine forward is also on the target list of other top European clubs such as FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

It was earlier reported that Juventus, struggling with the financial crisis infused by the pandemic, may choose to offload Dybala this summer to make funds for the 2021 transfer market.

The Serie A champions have labelled the talented forward with a transfer fee of $66 million, which Chelsea and Spurs are willing to meet, the soccer website Sports Witness reported.

Argentina forward Dybala kickstarted his senior career at the Italian club, Palermo. When president Maurizio Zamparini announced the signing of Dybala, he had said, “We have got Paulo Dybala – the new Sergio Aguero.” Dybala spent three seasons at Palermo, scoring 21 goals in 93 competitive matches before he moved to Juventus in the summer of 2015. The same year, he made his Argentina first-team debut, bolstering the squad alongside the likes of Aguero and Lionel Messi.

Dybala is currently playing his sixth season at Juventus and over the years, he has netted 98 goals for the Allianz Stadium side in as many as 244 competitive games.

The ex-Palermo forward has been a target for Tottenham since Mauricio Pochettino’s days at the club. Those links have continued under Jose Mourinho, who wants another proven playmaker alongside Harry Kane. Meanwhile, Chelsea’s interest in Dybala is not astonishing considering Timo Werner’s struggles since his arrival to Stamford Bridge last summer.

Dybala’s current deal with Juventus is due to expire in the summer of 2022 and the Old Lady are looking to clear funds by selling the player during the upcoming transfer market. He has made all 16 appearances this season for the Allianz Stadium side, scoring three goals and two assists, and has been out of action since January due to a ligament injury. Dybala, who is Lionel Messi’s teammate at Argentina, has been linked with a move away from Juventus for some time now.

FC Barcelona are looking to prepare a sensational swap deal that would see Dybala move to Camp Nou and Catalans’ Antoine Griezmann to the Turin club, according to Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport. The report has also revealed that Ligue 1 champions PSG are considering offering Juventus, Mauro Icardi as a part of the deal for Dybala.
