The Nigeria Government under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, commended the Kano tech genius and founder of Shamrock Innovation Hub, Miss Sa’adatu Aliyu for discovering an app – ‘Helpio app’, for reporting abuse cases.

The Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami officially presented a letter of commendation to her for her unique idea.
Miss Aliyu was officially presented with the letter in a brief ceremony held at the Communications and Digital Economy Complex, Abuja.
During the ceremony, Dr Pantami directed the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) to liaise with the young startup to mentor, monitor her progress and support the system under the stipulated regulation.
The Minister applauded the initiative, stressing that ICT innovation and entrepreneurship is the way forward in wealth creation and providing the solutions to problems affecting society.
