The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has endorsed the Basement Search Reality TV Show, saying the project when concluded will provide new stars that can take over from the big names in the industry when the time comes.

National President of AGN, Emeka Roland, while speaking to newsmen after the audition said: “Over 300 persons showed up for the audition because it is a first-of-a-kind show and it was massive because this is the first reality TV show looking out for actors and not musicians, dancers which seems to be the norm”.

The president who was one of the judges alongside Ali Nuhu, Sam Dede and Real Warri Pikin at the Abuja audition added that the project is a welcome development and the guild will do anything to promote its existence because it adds value to the entertainment industry.
