The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) leadership, on Tuesday, embarked on an indefinite strike.
The announcement was made by the union’s President, Mr Anderson Ezeibe, at a press conference in Abuja.

According to him, members of the union have decided to close all Nigerian polytechnics before their demands are met.
This is amid the federal government’s efforts to prevent Polytechnics’ strike action.
