Senator Bomoi visits Neptune Prime, praises efforts

Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomoi, of Yobe South, representing Potiskum, Nangere, Fune and Fika Local Government Areas of Yobe South Senatorial District on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Abuja corporate office of Neptune Prime, an emerging leader in online journalism in Nigeria and an authority on North East news.

The senator who commended Neptune Prime as a champion of developmental journalism acknowledged its impact in the Northeast adding that he wakes up every morning to read its reliable contents.

The senator seized the opportunity of the visit to speak on the increasing rate of banditry and insurgency noting that the national assembly is doing everything within its capacity to assist and ensure that there is peace adding that agitators cannot divide the country.

Also speaking on his achievements and empowerment programmes, the senator said it was imperative to provide these amenities as poverty is one of the major reasons citizens take pleasure to join bandit and kidnap groups so as to fend for themselves and vowed to give more financial support.

He finally urged the medium to continue its efforts in enlightening people on the laudable efforts of the federal and Yobe State governments as well as its balanced reports meant to enhance national unity.
