Yobe State Governor and Chairman APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee Hon. Mai Mala Buni, on Monday launched Yobe state House in Gusau, Zamfara state.

The Zamfara State Governor Bello Matawalle said the House was named after Yobe state to foster national unity.

He commended Gov. Buni for his statesmanship by identifying with the people of the state at a trying moment and thanked Governors Buni of Yobe state, Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa and Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi states for commiserating with and donating N50m to the victims of Gusau Market fire inferno.

“Your show of concern to the plight of the people of Zamfara state makes me proud and gives me and the people a true sense of belonging.

“Surprisingly, even those who we thought we are together politically never cared to identify with our situation at this point.

“Please extend the sincere gratitude of the government and people of Zamfara state to His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari, for earlier sending a federal delegation to commiserate with us” Matawalle added.
