The Yobe State Governor and Chairman APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Honourable Mai Mala Buni, in the company of his Deputy Honourable Idi Barde Gubana, Speaker, national and state legislators and members of the State Executive Council today attended the Eid prayers at the Yobe Mosque and Islamic centre.
This was contained in a statement signed by Mamman Mohammed, the Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to the Yobe State Governor.

He said: “The Eid prayers were conducted peacefully throughout the state.
“There was no restriction of vehicular movement as obtained in the past, and people moved freely and celebrated the Sallah without hitches.
“Alhamdulillah for the relative peace enjoyed across the state.
“Allah Ya kara mana zaman lafiya, amin.
