Former Nigerian President, GEJ, appointed Chancellor of Cavendish University Uganda

Former Nigerian President, Dr Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan has been recently appointed as the Chancellor of Cavendish University Uganda (CUU).

The appointment is one of the numerous international recognitions given to the former leader. Cavendish University Uganda, a private University, started operating in 2008 and is one of the leading Universities in Africa.

At the opening ceremony, the former Zambian President, late Kenneth Kaunda was the Chancellor of the university.

CUU is affiliated with Cavendish College London, Cavendish University, Tanzania and Cavendish University, Zambia. Its first graduation ceremony held in November 2011.

The university has different campuses across the country, including a campus in the capital city of Kampala.

The University sharing on their Instagram page wrote;

“Welcome aboard @Goodluck Jonathan as you take over as the Chancellor of CUU. We look forward to this new era and achieving great things under your leadership.
Success begins at Cavendish!
