The Presidency has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari will speak in another interview to be aired on Friday.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President in Media and Publicity, on Friday 11th June 2021.
According to Adesina, the President’s interview, which is going to be the second interview in two days, will be “revealing”.
The statement read: “President Muhammadu Buhari grants Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) an exclusive interview, from 8.30 pm on Friday, June 11, 2021.
“It promises to be revealing and educating. Kindly keep a date.”
President Buhari had during an interview on “The Morning Show” by Arise TV aired on Thursday, June 10, spoke on several issues ranging from security, infrastructure, the alleged nepotism in his appointments, youth unemployment, farmers-herders clashes and open grazing, the Nigeria-Niger Republic Railway line and the South-East/IPOB agitation.
Some of the President’s comments on issues during the interview was widely criticised by Nigerians, including the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
