Adebayo Kingsley, a 23-year-old bricklayer has been arrested for allegedly killing and rapping the corpse of his lover in Edo State.
The deceased, Rosemary Ifeoma, a 46-year-old mother of four popularly called Mama Samuel reportedly died July 16, 2021.
According to Kingsley who confessed to the crime to the Police during interrogation, his lover died after hitting her with a plank and had canal knowledge with her at her residence in Ugbor, Edo State.
Also, prior to the incident, he was accused of hitting the head of the deceased 13-year-old son and thereafter pounced on his lover.
The neighbours got to know of the incident through the son after he was rushed to the hospital and regained consciousness.
He narrated the story of how the suspect attacked him. He led the neighbours to the place where the suspect was working and immediately he cited the boy he took to his heels but was caught and arrested by the police.
