The speculation within the political circle in Kano that former Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso will soon dump PDP for APC has been laid to rest by Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate in Kano in 2019.
In a media statement by Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam was former Chief of Staff to Kwankwaso when he was Governor of Kano State explained clearly that PDP did not offend their boss or come up with something which will not favour the political ambition of their boss as such, Kwankwaso is in PDP and will remain in PDP.
If he joins APC, definitely, he is going to be under Ganduje who has incumbent Governor is the leader of APC in Kano State, Ganduje who did all he could to destroy Kwankwaso politically is not somebody they can work with, he is only using the Aminu Wali faction of PDP to spread the rumour that Kwankwaso will dump PDP for APC, this is nothing but trying to paint the former Governor black, Abdulsalam noted!.
Adding that what is it, is it that the Northern Electorate did not do for President Buhari, but today, he has neglected and rejected the masses by imposing on them massive suffering, in fact, in the past, if you mention the name Buhari, people will almost take what you said as supreme, but today nobody is fearing or admiring Buhari as a politician or president, he has completely failed his party himself and the country.
Nobody up till now according to Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam has approached Kwankwaso to discuss with him how to return to APC or the condition attached to such discussion, but we are happy that among all those that dumped their parties for APC including sitting governors and senators, APC is still dreaming to get Kwankwaso as part of them but this is a dream and it will remain a dream.
On whether PDP in Kano is planning to drop him and Abba Gida Gida for 2023 governorship, Comrade Abdulsalam laughed and said, I am hearing this from you, even though somebody told me that he had Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso making this dream, to us, it is a dream and we have never discussed that they only want to cause confusion and they will not succeed.
