A concerned Nigerian on Monday took to social media to lament the sub-standard quality of roads constructed by the Edo state government in the state.
In the video he shared, the man identified as Paulson Great, said the road which is being constructed at Igarra in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State has a drainage system without rods and abandoned halfway.
The man who went on to show that the road is of poor quality by removing the asphalt with his hands averred that idioms like “half bread is better than none” is what has kept the country in its sad state.
He maintained that it is better that people do things right than going on with a project with poor quality, while also recounting how he ensured that his community got one of the best roads in Edo state while participating in its construction.
