The residents of Sabon Tasha in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna state, have resorted to protests by blocking the roads totally, to avoid movements in or out of the state.
This is as a result of the incessant kidnappings in the State and as the state government is yet to take any positive measures to tackle the matter.
It was reported that about 14 persons were abducted on Wednesday night at Ungwan Matari, close to the Sabon Tasha area of the state. The bandits, who shot sporadically, scaring villagers and causing chaos, broke fences and windows of the residents to get access to their victims before taking them away.
