Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, a Senator representing Lagos East in the National Assembly, has commiserated with the family of late Mrs Sumbo Ajose, treasurer of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ajose, aged 55, died on Tuesday in the United States of America.
In a statement issued on Thursday by Enitan Olukotun, Special Adviser on Media and publicity to Senator Abiru, Ajose’s demise was a personal and painful loss to the Senator.
“Mrs Sumbo Ajose faithfully and diligently served as the Secretary of the Finance Committee in my Senatorial campaign directorate last year.
“Alongside other members of the campaign team, Ajose distinguished herself as a thorough professional in the discharge of her assignment.”
“I commiserate with the family of the deceased, our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the entire people of Lagos state over this irreparable loss. I pray that Almighty God comforts the family she left behind,” Senator Abiru mourned. Condolance
