Brigadier General Tunji Olurin, a former Military of Oyo State has died.
Olurin died in the early hours of Saturday at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), after a brief illness at 77 years old.
Funso Olurin, the deceased’s brother, revealed this in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital on Saturday.

Olurin was born in Ilaro, Ogun West Senatorial District, and served as the Military Administrator of Ekiti State from October 8, 2006 to April 27, 2007.
He was said to be a close political ally of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
He contested for the governorship seat in the 2011 general election in Ogun State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Olurin served as a Field Commander of the ECOMOG Peacekeeping Force during the First Liberian Civil War from 1992 to 1993.
