Dr Okeke is now a member of the ruling Party.
This development is coming a few days after it was rumoured that Okeke had joined the Party. But the Special Adviser to the Governor Obiano on Political Matters, Barr. Ifeatu Obiokoye in a chat with newsmen on Friday debunked the rumours saying the Deputy Governor had not made any official statement declaring categorically that he has defected to the APC
Obiokoye stressed that until Okeke makes an official statement to that effect, his rumoured defection remains unofficial.
