APC Chairmanship: Al-Makura publicly declares interest

Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has declared his interest to contest for the position of national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the oncoming national convention.
Al-Makura made his intention public during a campaign rally in Lafia, Nasarawa State, “I made public my desire to contest for the post of national chairman of my party, the All Progressive Congress, (APC) because I want to sustain the legacies of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

“I want to publicly inform members of my party about my aspiration to contest for the office of APC national chairman in the next convention.” He said.
According to him, I want you to know that this is my immediate constituency, my ward, my local government, my senatorial zone and my state.
“I, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, wish to contest for the position of APC chairman. I am doing this to ensure cohesion, party unity, to ensure that those values and attributes that came with the emergence of the legacy parties have been kept alive.” said Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
The campaign rally gathered a mammoth crowd, among which are APC stakeholders and party faithful supporters from far and wide.
