Dr. Gimba to speak at Northeast Star Awards in Yola 

The Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Neptune Prime newspaper and magazine, Dr. Hassan Gimba is expected to be the Guest Speaker at the 2021 Northeast Star Awards which will hold in Yola, the Adamawa state capital.

The Management and Editorial Board of Northeast Star Magazine disclosed this in a statement signed by the Media and Publicity Committee, and made available to newsmen on Monday in Abuja.

According to the statement, the event is expected to hold at the Conference Hall of the American University of Nigeria Yola, Adamawa State on October 21.

Dr. Gimba is a Nigerian journalist, writer, public commentator and online publisher, born on the 9th of April, 1964, in Kaduna, Nigeria, he was Editor at Leadership newspaper and one time spokesman for the Nigerian minister of science and technology.

Dr. Gimba currently publishes Neptune Prime (www.neptuneprime.com.ng), an online newspaper based in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja. He is also a columnist for Blueprint newspaper as well as for other online platforms.

He has written over 500 articles basically on politics, good governance and security, especially concerning Boko Haram and armed bandits in northern Nigeria. He has an unpublished book, The Arbiter, which is a collection of some of his writings.
