NSCDC officer arrested for supplying arms to bandits in Kaduna (Video)

An officer with the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) was arrested by a team of Anti-Terrorism Squad for supplying arms and ammunitions to bandits and kidnappers in Kaduna.
Parading the officer in Kaduna recently, one ACG Hassan Yakubu of Anti-Terrorism Squad from Abuja Headquarters of the Police Command interrogated the Civil Defense officer publically where he confessed that he is a one-star officer with Civil Defense and that for a while, he and some of his friends have been supplying bandits and kidnappers with AK 47 and ammunitions.

In some cases, they personally take part in the kidnapping and banditry activities alongside the kidnappers, and he on his own have two AK 47 that he normally gives out to the gunmen for an agreed sum, he said.
He revealed that he got the AK47 from one Fulani man and that he has a colleague, one Ibrahim who is also in the business of hiring firearms especially AK47 to bandits, and they have been doing this for quite some time before his arrest.
The interrogation by ACG Hassan Yakubu of Anti-Terrorist Squad, Abuja Police Command was not professionally done as he did not ask the arrested officer his full name, how much he charged per AK47, where he currently lives, which Civil Corp Command he’s currently attached to, and other sensitive questions.
