Plateau United FC presents new car to coach, Ilichukwu

The management of Plateau United Football Club Jos presented a brand new Peugeot 406 wagon to the club’s Technical Adviser, Coach Fidelis Ilichukwu three weeks after his appointment in the club.
Recall that Plateau United unveiled Coach Fidelis Ilichukwu as its new Technical Adviser after the club’s management reached an agreement on a two-year contract that will succeed Abdu Maikaba whose contract expired last season.
The Media Officer, Plateau United Football Club, Albert Dakup revealed that the Peugeot 406 wagon will be used as the official car of the technical adviser.
Plateau State Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development, Victor Lapang handed the car keys to coach Ilichukwu during a brief ceremony held at the clubhouse in Jos.
Lapang urged the coach to work hard and win laurels for the club, he said the club is one of the fast-growing teams in the Nigeria Professional Football League with large followership across the length and breadth of Nigeria, which requires much attention and hard work.
The sports commissioner while assuring Ilichukwu of the government’s full support, explained that the motive behind the presentation of the car is to aid the coach to settle down comfortably and do his job with ease.
On his part, the General Manager of the club, Pius Henwan after congratulating the Technical Adviser, charged him to make hard work his watchword in order to attain greatness for the club.
Henwan said the management of the club under his leadership will give the coach and technical crew all the needed support to enable them to achieve the Club’s objectives.
