The case of Dollar scandal between Kano State Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Jafaar Jafaar a Newspaper Publisher has come to an end, as the Governor has decided to pay Jafaar Jafaar the sum of .8million Naira as damages.
It could be recalled that about 5 years ago Jafaar Jafaar released, parts 1, 2 and 3 of a video showing Ganduje collecting bribe from a contractor, the Governor later denied it that it was fake and dragged Jafaar Jafaar to Kano High Court, but he lost the case and decided to go for an appeal.
When he lost in the appeal, the governor decided to settle for blackmail, threatening to deal with Jafaar Jafaar, this has made Jafaar Jafaar to run out of the country with his family.
Meanwhile, the case continue in court and later Ganduje shown a sign of not continuing with the case, the High Court therefore asked him to pay Jafaar Jafaar .8million naira, which he paid now, only God knows what will happen next.
