Beautiful Fati Washa replaces Maryam Wazeery in Hausa film series Labarina

Maryam Wazeery aka Laila, who is one of the leading actresses in the popular Hausa film series “Labarina” has been replaced by Fati Washa.
This is as a result of Maryam quitting acting as she is getting married to her heartthrob, former Super Eagle Star, Tijjani Babangida.
After so many delibrations from the movie directors, Fati Washa from Southern Kaduna was nominated to play the role of Maryam Wazeery alias Laila.
Meanwhile, it was alleged that when Maryam, a tall lanky English Masters Degree holder from the University of Maiduguri, who is a Tangale from Gombe State was chosen as one of the lead actresses, most popular female actresses in Kano were surprised how she was chosen, some were even alleging that she either compromised or struck a deal with the producers as they initially expected the likes of Aisha Aliyu Tsamiya to be in the series.
Neptune Prime understands that when the Corona pandemic broke out, all activities in Kannywood were suspended and the industry went dry but when things improved, producers decided to go for series as it got them sponsorship from companies and individuals including personal investment by interested parties.
The director of the series, Aminu Saira and his team members designed the Labarina project and invited highly experienced actors and actresses to feature in the project.
Similarly, other producers like Adam A. Zango came up with the series, Farin Wata Shakallao; Sani Danja came up with Gidan Danja, then there is the famous Kwana Casa’in that has been running for long on Arewa 24.
