Elders are working hard to reconcile me with Kwankwaso – Ganduje
Story from Saleh INUWA, Kano
Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has confirmed that a powerful committee of elders have been constituted to reconcile him with his former boss, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
The Governor who disclosed this in Kano while speaking with the media noted that for every society to develop, those that matter should always work together as a team for the general interest of the society. All along according to him, there are those who are benefiting from his political crisis with Kwankwaso, but this will end very soon.

On his side, he said there are people that want him to continue fighting with Kwankwaso, while some from Kwankwaso’s side also want them not to reconcile. He and Kwankwaso were political friends for over 20 years, as such, it will not be difficult for them to work again as a team, because doing that will politically help Kano in terms of peace and development.
When Kwankwaso’s junior brother, Comrade Inuwa Musa Kwankwaso died recently, Ganduje led a powerful delegation under his leadership to pay a condolence visit to Senator Kwankwaso in his Miller road residence. Kwankwaso received Ganduje warmly and later they had a private meeting which lasted for an hour, then the issue of reconciliation came up.
It could be recalled that Ganduje was twice Kwankwaso’s Deputy Governor and his personal assistant when Kwankwaso was Defense Minister, but when Ganduje became Governor they fell apart because according to Kwankwaso, the Governor abandoned most of his projects and Ganduje, in turn, sacked Kwankwaso’s supporters from his government.
