Nasarawa Lawmakers resume sitting on Thursday after renovation of chamber

Members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly are to resume sitting tommorow, Thursday 9th December, 2021 at their permanent site, the State Assembly complex, Shendam Road, Lafia.
The sitting is to enable the lawmakers receive the 2022 appropriation bill from Governor Abdullahi Sule, who is expected to lay the budget before the House.
A statement by Clerk of the House, Mr Ego Maikeffi Abashe quotes the Speaker, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi as calling on all members of the House to attend the sitting unfailingly beginning from 10 in the morning.
The statement added that the Governor is also expected to unveil the new remodeled hallowed chamber of the House before the budget presentation.
