Press Secretary to Niger gov. condoles with NUJ over the death of Suleiman Dele Bajulaiye
The Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor of Niger State, Mary Noel-Berje has commiserated with the broadcast industry and the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Niger State Council over the loss of a renowned broadcaster, Suleiman Dele Bajulaiye of Baddegi Radio, Minna.
Noel-Berje in a condolence message said no doubt it is a trying moment for officials and members of the NUJ Niger State Council as it is still dealing with the loss of a vibrant and committed member who died recently, the Union has again been hit with the passing away of a veteran and astute broadcaster with decades of broadcast experience.

According to her “This is really shocking and disturbing that in less than 2 weeks, the NUJ Niger Council has lost two of its dedicated members”.
While describing the late Dele Bajulaiye as a man who was a voice to the voiceless through his career in Crystal Radio and subsequently Baddegi Radio, Mrs Noel-Berje maintained that the deceased will be greatly missed for his contributions to make the Pen profession a virile Union.
She said, “despite the pain of losing loved ones, we all must remember that no mortal will dwell on earth forever”.
The CPS then prayed that God has mercy on the deceased and grant his soul eternal rest. She also prayed to God to give his family members, all staff of Baddegi Radio and the NUJ members as well as friends the fortitude to bear the loss.
Late Suleiman Dele Bajulaiye was a staff of Crystal Radio 91.3 FM who rose to become the station manager and retired after putting in 35 years in service. He joined Baddegi Radio 90.1 FM from its inception in November 2020 as the pioneer station manager, the position he held until his demise.
Suleiman Dele Bajulaiye died in Minna, Niger State, and has been buried according to Islamic injunctions.
