Key contender of the 2023 presidential election and a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress chieftain, Bola Tinubu, has reportedly travelled out of Nigeria, for reasons yet unknown.
The former governor of Lagos State travelled overseas to rest and strategise, according to Punch, quoting a member of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Movement’s Working Committees on Friday.

“He (Tinubu) travelled abroad to rest after going around the country for consultations. He travelled to rest and strategise,” the source said.
According to speculations, Tinubu may have travelled for medical reason but the source denied that the APC leader travelled on health grounds, also the country he travelled to was not mentioned, as reported by the medium.
Tinubu had on January 10, visited President Muhammadu Buhari to inform him of his intention to contest the presidential election in 2023.
Tinubu has since travelled to some parts of the country including Oyo, Niger, and Zamfara states to widen consultations for his political ambition.
