Family of Kano Commissioner in confusion over disappearance of son

The family of Kano State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Dr Zahrau Muhammad Umar, is in a state of confusion over the disappearance of their son Abdulrahman.

Abdulrahman who is 24-years-old has been missing for the past 14 days and all efforts by his family to trace him is not successful.

This is coming when the case of Hanifa Abubakar, the 5-year-old girl who was kidnapped and killed by their teacher named Tanko Abdulmalik is still generating tension in Kano. As such, the family of the Commissioner of Women Affairs are beginning to conclude that their son might have been kidnapped.

Up to the time of this report, nobody has called Abdulrahman’s family to demand a ransom. The issue has already been reported to the Kano State Police Command, and they are making all efforts to trace the whereabouts of Abdulrahman and hand him over to his family or otherwise as the case might turn out to be.
