Gov. Sani Bello condoles with Sokoto Gov. over brother’s death
Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has condoled with his Sokoto State counterpart, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal over the loss of his elder brother, Alhaji Muhammadu Bello, the Wazirin Tambuwal.
Governor Sani Bello in a message on Thursday, according to his Chief Press Secretary, Mary Noel-Berje expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Sokoto State Governor, his family members and the people of Tambuwal.
He described the deceased as a highly spiritual person with in-depth knowledge of Islamic laws.
The Governor also said late Bello was a committed, dedicated and passionate leader who lived a selfless life to better his community, Emirate and State.
“I really share in your moment of grieve over the passing away of your brother. He lived a life worthy of emulation. May Aljannah Firdausi be his final abode”, he said.
He prayed Allah to comfort the government of Sokoto State, family members and well-wishers of the deceased.
Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal had announced the death of his elder brother, Alhaji Muhamadu Bello in a press statement on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was until his death the Wazirin Tambuwal of the hometown of the governor having succeeded their late father who died about 37 years ago.
He was buried Wednesday morning according to Islamic rites in Tambuwal town.
