A section of the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State has been gutted by fire Saturday morning.
Authorities have not been able to ascertain the actual cause of the fire incident.

According Punch quoting a source, the fire which lasted for less than an hour has since been put out.
“Yes, it is true that there was a fire outbreak this morning. An operation was going on when it happened.
“There was minor damage because it was immediately contained. So no loss of lives or property,” the source stated.
