She started in 2010 and up till now, it is still the money she is making from Nigeria that she used to produce her films in Ghana.

“I have my production account so that is what I have been using to produce all these fantastic movies from my production company. I got placement money from companies also and I use that judiciously to pay my artist in Ghana, if your films are good, you will definitely make a good profit from it”.

Commenting on how Ghana’s movie industry can step up, Nelson mentioned some of her colleagues who could also invest in the industry in Ghana and revive it. Nelson starred in many Nollywood movies and she will do all she could alongside her friends who are also featuring in Nollywood to put money into Ghanaian movies and revive it.

“It can, if John Dumelo, Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Okoro, Van Vicker, Majid Micheal, if they all join her to be producers by using resources we make outside Ghana to inject the money into our film industry, definitely we are going to revive it and make lots of money including creating employments for Ghanaians”.

“I can’t be the only one going around and talking, saying let’s do this, let’s do that, this means that some of us are not bothered about reviving the industry, we need to put what we got from other financial commitments outside Ghana, and put the money into our industry like what I am doing so that we can revive our industry and create a good job for younger artists that are coming up”.
