I’ve killed many people but I can remember only 20 – 21-year-old terrorist

A 21-year-old suspected terrorist, Naziru Sani, working under the camp of Bello Turji, has confessed that he killed many people when he lasted as a terrorist but can only remember 20 because of the way and manner he carried out the killings.
The young terrorist made the confession when a police officer, S.P Gambo Isah, paraded him in Zamfara State before the press alongside other members of the Bello Turji gang that were similarly arrested by the security agencies.
Sani, a resident of Makera Village in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State was arrested along Jabiri Quarters in Funtua Local Government Area, based on a credible intelligence report, SP Gambo disclosed when parading them.

When making their confession before the security agencies and the press, Naziru Sani said he has been involved in several community attacks under the command of Bello Turji and have killed many people. Though he can only remember 20 in the past but has repented according to him. Adding that Bello Turji was his boss, he operated directly under him before he left the bush when they fall out.
“I have been involved in several community attacks under the command of my boss, Turji and have killed many people but can remember on 20 persons, but I have repented now. I ran away from Jangebe forest in Zamfara where Turji is currently hiding for his dear life. The police arrested me at Funtua, while I was trying to find my way to Suleja, Niger State, where my parents lived. I left my wife and children in Makera village in Tsafe Local Government Area, Zamfara State”.
While briefing the press on the arrest, SP Gambo Isah said: “Based on credible intelligence, the command succeeded in arresting one Naziru Sani of Makera Village, Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State. A notorious bandit terrorizing Katsina and its environs, he is 21-years-old, nemesis caught up with the suspect when a team of policemen along Jabiri Quarters, Funtua LGA of the state arrested him”.
In the course of the investigation, the suspect confessed to being under the leadership of Bello Turji who has been on the command’s wanted list and have participated in attacking and killing many people.
