Kebbi, Pakistan to establish mega pharmaceutical firms in Birnin Kebbi

Kebbi State Government and Pakistan country have agreed to establish a mega pharmaceutical, bulk vegetables and fruits cold storage firms in Birnin Kebbi, Capital of Kebbi state.

The agreement was reached yesterday, when Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and High Commissioner of Pakistan to Nigeria, Major General, Mohammed Tayyab Azzam signed a memorandum of understanding, MOU at Government House in Birnin Kebbi during the ambassador’s courtesy visit.

Ambassador Tayyab had early told Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu that Nigeria and Pakistan shared a lot of similarities which includes: color of flags, environment, security challenges and geographical locations in the world.

”Nigeria is also an emerging economy and it happens to be one of the most promising nations of the world” Ambassador Tayyab said.

He added that the two nations have since enjoyed robust relations in education, railway line and engineering which are vital in the society.

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu who expressed his happiness over the visit also admit that the two countries have deep respectable relationship ranging from areas of education, health, population, landlines and security challenges.

Bagudu however lamented that unfortunately, the two countries were largely misrepresented in the world stage.
