Yobe immigration service comptroller, CIS A.S Essien, resumes duty as Zone ‘C’ ACG
The Comptroller, Nigeria Immigration Service Yobe State Command, CIS A.S Essien, has yesterday assumed office as the new Ag. Assistant Comptroller general (Ag. ACG) in charge of Zone ‘C’.
He takes over the leadership of the zone from CIS Kemi Nanna Nandap who is now the Comptroller Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos Command.
The officer will now double stand as the Comptroller Yobe State Command and the zonal coordinator of Zone ‘C’ which comprises Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Plateau and Yobe State Command.
CIS A.S Essien was born in 1962 at Akwa Ibom state and had his undergraduate studies at the University of Calabar where he graduated in 1986 and hold a Bachelors degree in education Science.

Before now, he has served in several directorates of the Nigeria Immigration Service headquarters, among which are; CIS In-charge of discipline service HQ, CIS in-charge regularization Service HQ, CIS CERPAC Service HQ, Passport Control Officer, Rivers State Command.
He is a member security governance initiative(SGI) USA, a member of the chartered institute of disaster and safety managers, member of global intelligent, peace & security institute of USA, member of Africa Society for disaster and risk managers.
The new comptroller is judged to be an accomplished administrator and has been directed to bring his wealth of experience to play by ensuring that the zonal headquarter( zone ‘c’) continue to play important role in the NIS and the country as a whole.
