Niger State gov. mourns death of former SSG, Ibrahim Isah Ladan
Niger State Governor and Chairman North Central States Governors’ Forum (NCSGF), Abubakar Sani Bello has expressed sadness over the sudden death of a former Secretary to the state government (SSG), Alhaji Ibrahim Isa Ladan.
According to a statement signed by Mary Noel-Berje Chief Press Secretary
to the Governor of Niger State, Governor Bello in a condolence message said the demise of the former SSG is a huge loss to the state government in general and the Borgu Kingdom in particular.
Governor Sani Bello eulogized the deceased describing him as an outstanding administrator and politician who has greatly contributed to the growth and development of the state.
He said late Ibrahim Isah Ladan served the state with great passion stressing that his loyalty to the administration was unwaivering and remarkable.
The Governor commiserated with Emir and people of Borgu Emirate as well as the family of the deceased. He prayed Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdausi.
The late SSG, Ibrahim Isah Ladan from Borgu Local Government Area, was appointed by the administration of Governor Sani Bello in 2016.
He was a former Commissioner representing Niger State in the Federal Character Commission and was one-time chairman Borgu local government Area.
The late SSG, 62, was a seasoned politician and also a former Senatorial aspirant for Niger North Senatorial district under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Late Isah Ladan was a turbanned councillor of Borgu Kingdom, who served on the Governor-elect Transition Committee set up by Governor Sani Bello to prepare ground for his administration’s inauguration in 2015.
