A pregnant lady eight other persons mostly university students were reportedly burnt to death in an auto crash in llorin, Kwara state capital.
The accident which involved a commercial 14-seater passenger bus and a private vehicle occurred along the llorin International Airport Road on Sunday at about 8:00am.

Persons affected were said to be mostly university students who were heading home as a result of on going industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), they were burnt beyond recognition.
Confirming the accident, Jonathan Owoade, sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kwara State told Tribune online that the Lagos-bound passenger bus had loaded at the Gerin Alimi motor park, heading outwards the metropolis when it rammed into the private vehicle.
He said, “A car coming out of the airport ran across the road, thinking it could have crossed the road before the bus gets to it. Incidentally, it was said that it was carrying fuel. I would surely get back to you with details, including registration numbers of the vehicles”, he said.
It was also gathered that eight persons, however, survived the accident with multiple injuries.
