APC Convention: Group endorses Honourable Rinsola Abiola as youth leader

As all is set for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to hold its national convention on Saturday, a political group known as ‘Coalition of APC North East Youth Vanguards’ has endorsed the candidature of Honourable Rinsola Abiola as a national youth leader.
The coalition in a press statement signed by its spokesperson, Comrade Zakari Hashim and issued to our correspondent on Sunday said Abiola having served as a member of the board of trustees of the party in recent time is qualified for the office.

The statement reads, “As we approach the national convention of the All Progressive Congress, we the APC Northeast Youth Vanguard affirm our wholesome support for Rinsola candidature as APC youth leader due to her antecedents in the area of grassroots mobilisation throughout the various assignments and positions she has held in the party in the past.
“Her vast experience in the area of mobilisation will be beneficial for our party in the next general elections. This should not be taken for granted; we believe she remains the best among all the aspirants for the position of a youth leader.
“Aside from her experience, the group said women should also be considered for positions in the national working committee of the party oping that the womenfolk constitute the majority voters in the nation.
“We, therefore, call on our delegates and party stakeholders to support a real youth in the age bracket of youth in the scheme of things in our party, that person is nobody other than Rinsola Abiola”.
