Aspirants call for calm as conflicts deepens in Plateau PDP

The Plateau State Chapter of the People Democratic Party (PDP) is going through some hitches as aggrieved members of the party are gripped by fear and uncertainty due to prolong conflicts between stakeholders and elders of the party.
Sources said the situation has degenerated into several conflicts from the stakeholders, elders and aspirants of the party over unresolved court cases.
An aspirant of the Plateau State House of Assembly (PLHA) from the southern senatorial zone Honourable Doemak Balla told Neptune Prime that he would only purchase form if the national headquarters sign an undertaken to refund him back his money incase the party fails to present candidates to vie for offices in the 2023 general elections.
However, it was also revealed that several stakeholders and party faithful have been grumbling due to their inability to know the party’s fate.

“Recalled that Sen. Jeremiah Useini group didn’t raise any objections to the rerun elections which was conducted for Bassa/Jos North LGAs House of Representatives seat recently which signals ray of hope but the unusual silent from the group and inability to withdraw the ongoing court cases has brought uncertainty on the party and it’s progress”. A source said.
The coming days will surely be interesting for the party which seek to flush out the ruling APC from the seat of power with so much determination.
He said in the spirit of sportsmanship, some of the crises were swept under the carpet to shift grounds for the landslide victory from the by-election conducted in Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency.
Similarly, political bigwigs within the PDP have expressed their views and willingness to allow peace to reign, but insisted that the party must accommodate others and not let few people take center stage of the hemp of affairs, thereby creating unnecessary tension amongst stalwarts.
