Gov. Inuwa inaugurates APC state exco in Gombe

Ahead of the national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) slated for Saturday, 26th March, Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya has inaugurated the newly elected state executives of the party.
Inaugurating the party officials at the Gombe International Hotel, the governor represented by his deputy Manasseh Jatau tasked the new leaders to be proactive and work towards the victory of the party in 2023.

He said as leaders of the party in the state, they should project the good image of the APC led administration by informing the citizens on the projects executed by the state government in order to gain support for the party.
The governor also charged all party members not to allow only government officials to tackle members of the opposition but to counter their criticisms with superior arguments and facts.
Also speaking, the speaker of the state assembly Abubakar Luggerewo asked the newly sworn in APC state executives to comply with instructions from the state government in the forthcoming national convention.
In an interview, the new state women leader of the party Lumbi Abubakar promised to mobilize women in the state to register as APC members and also get voters cards from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
