NSCDC nab 3 suspected cultists with human bones in Taraba

Officers of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Sardauna local government area of Taraba State have arrested three suspected cultists with human bones.
According to an eye witness Jamilu Buba, the suspects confessed that they removed the human bones after digging graves from a cemetery in the area.

According to Jamilu, the rationale behind the action of the suspected cultists may not be unconnected with the growing ritual activities and insecurity in the area.
“I’m not surprised with the arrest of these boys. Because recently, there has been a rise in the activities of ritualists in our area as people need charm to protect themselves from kidnappers and political thugs.” He said.
When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of NSCDC, Taraba State command Peter Godwin confirmed the arrest and added that the command has already begun investigation on the matter.
Those arrested are Bashir, Modi and Ado who are between the ages of 20 and 26. The arrest was made in Nguroje village of the local government.
