After 24 hours of declaring his intention to run for the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo is reportedly scheduled to host party members of House of Representatives during iftar (breaking of fast) on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
It is expected that the vice president will use the occasion to inform the lawmakers of his intention.

Members of the House are automatic delegates to the APC presidential primaries and play a key role in the emergence of the presidential candidate.
