Power ministry staff urged to up game in service delivery

Story from ABAH ADAH, Abuja

The staff of the Ministry of Power have been enjoined to improve on their time and communication management among others towards effective and efficient service delivery.

Addressing participants during the first quarter, 2022 Sensitisation Workshop on Effective and Efficient Service Delivery organised by the Department of Reform, Coordination and Service Improvement for grade levels 08 to 14 at the ministry’s headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday, the Permanent Secretary (PS), Ministry of Power, Nebeolisa Anako, urged the workers to be multi-tasking in their efforts to render service so as to be able to respond in real-time.

The PS who was represented by the Deputy Director, Planning, Research, and Statistics, Mrs Margret Zira Habila, said: “We need to separate what is urgent, important, from the rest. It is only through this that we will be able to rapidly respond when we need to, or else we remain at the last-minute response.

“We could improve our attitude around time management. Communication of task should be clear, and feedback should be sought.
