A 33-year-old Agbo Victor has been arrested by the Kano State Police Command for being in possession of 250 parcels of Cannabis sativa.
In a statement issued by the command’s spokesman, Superintendent (SP) Abdullahi Haruna-Kiyawa, the suspect was apprehended by command operatives while traveling in a car loaded with suspected weeds at Kwanar Dangora in Kiru Local Government Area.

The suspect, according to Haruna-Kiyawa, transported the substance from Edo to a drug dealer in Kano who is now at large.
The case has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department’s Narcotics Section for discreet investigation by the Commissioner of Police, Samaila Shuaibu-Dikko.
The suspect will be charged to court once the investigation is completed, according to the spokesman.
