APC Presidential Form: Amaechi receives N1.8 billion donation from supporters

Former Rivers State Governor and Minister for Transportation, Chief Chibuike Amaechi has gotten the donation of 1.8 billion Naira from friends and associates to buy the 100 million Naira mandatory presidential nomination form.
According to reports, an anonymous businessman from Maiduguri donated the sum of N500 million naira to Amaechi.
However, the former governor of Lagos State and APC leader, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu has so far gotten the donation of 1.2 billion Naira from friends and supporters to enable him purchase the presidential nomination form.
Most of the donors do not wish to disclose their names, so they send their donations through some of their leaders.
Also, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has gotten the donation of N200 million from political friends and associates. More friends and associates are still donating to the front line presidential aspirants.
Similarly, Vice President Osinbajo has named Senator Kabiru Gaya from Kano State as the Director General of his campaign council.
Recall that the form that brought President Muhammadu Buhari into office was sold at 27 million Naira and after complaining bitterly, the president later said he obtained a bank loan to purchase the form.
