The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2021 third place winner Cameroon have been drawn alongside with South America giant Brazil, Serbia and Switzerland in Group G of the 2022 World Cup which will take place in Qatar in November.
Current world champions France took the easy slice as they were drawn in Group D with Peru, or the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Australia, Denmark and Tunisia.

The draw which was held on Friday saw Germany drawing Spain in Group E.
Below is a list of all teams and their respective groups following the conclusion of the draw.
Group A: Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, Netherlands
Group B: England, Iran, USA, Wales or Scotland or Ukraine
Group C: Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Poland
Group D: France, Peru or UAE or Australia, Denmark, Tunisia
Group E: Spain, Costa Rica or New Zealand, Germany, Japan
Group F: Belgium, Canada, Morocco, Croatia
Group G: Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, Cameroon
Group H: Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, South Korea
World Cup finals to be played from November 21 to December 18, 2022.
Intercontinental playoffs to be contested on June 13-14 in Qatar where winner of United Arab Emirates v Australia face Peru and New Zealand v Costa Rica.
European playoffs to be held in June on dates to be announced.
