A Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday has granted the sum of N2 million in bail to Reverend Emmanuel Ugochukwu, founder and General Overseer of Christ Living Hope Church who was arrested with drugs.
Neptune Prime reports that Rev. Ugochukwu was intercepted by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos with 54 sticks of drugs wrapped around his body.

The cleric was arrested on Monday, March 7, 2022 while on his way to a three-week crusade in Nairobi, Kenya.
He was said to have been spotted by the operatives during the outward clearance of passengers on Ethiopian Airlines flight to Nairobi via Addis Ababa.
The preacher has his church headquartered in lsuaniocha, Mgbakwu Road, Awka, Awka North Local Government Area (LGA), Anambra State, and two other branches in Lagos and Abuja.
