Kogi Police Commissioner assures of adequate security during, after Sallah celebrations

The kogi State Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Egbuka, has assured watertight security across the state before, during and after the Sallah celebrations.

CP Egbuka disclosed this in a conference with senior officers in Lokoja.

He charged all Area Commanders, Tactical and operational Commanders as well as the Divisional Police Officers to beef up security within their Areas of Responsibilities and to ensure massive deployment of patrol teams along the major highways and undercover operations to black spots, flash points, and other vulnerable criminal spots to nip in all forms of crimes and criminality across the state.

The Commissioner also assured that detection of crimes are prompt to serve as effective deterrent to all criminals.

He reiterates the Command’s level of preparedness, determination and commitment in synergy with other security agencies in ensuring safety of lives and property.

CP Egbuka urges the good people of the state to continue to give security forces credible and useful information on the activities of criminal elements in order to curtail their acts.

He felicitates with Muslims on the occasion of the 2022 Eid-El-Fitri celebrations.
