He said, “Despite the fact that I decamped to the Party (PDP) recently, as a two terms House of Representative member that qualifies me to be among Party stakeholders, but the party stakeholders boycotted me during the congresses to elect the Adhoc delegates.
“Besides, when the news broke out that only the Adhoc delegates were mandated to elect the party flagbearers during the primary elections, 24 hours to the election, the delegates were smuggled to unknown hotels for almost 24 hours, and no aspirants got access to them. The delegates suddenly appeared at the venue around 6.30 pm on the election day, on which the House of Assembly will also take place at the same venue.
I lodged a complaint to the state chairman of the party (Dr Felix Hassan Hyet), we (aspirants) were summoned to the state party office at 10:30 pm, while making a statement, my opponent stated that he was responsible for isolating the delegates at the presence of the state Chairman and no action was taken.
I returned to the venue of the election around 12, pm, instead of the party chairman to halt the election, the electorates proceeded with the election at 12:30 pm which was against the rule.
